Tell us a little about your family, where you are from, how long you have lived in North
Riverside: I am originally from Oregon but have lived in Illinois for almost four years. My wife Brianna and I moved to North Riverside in June of 2021 and live with our dog and two cats.
I would love to tell you about these things at the library: Basketball (the Xavier Musketeers and Portland Trail Blazers in particular), volunteering, good food and drinks
I think the library is essential to our community because: It provides so many good resources, programs and tools for our entire community – on top of the great books and media.
I love doing … at the library/my favorite way to use the library is: I love the access to e-books, shows and movies. Apps like Libby and Hoopla provide a great way to supplement the physical media available from the library.
I wanted to become a Board member because: I wanted an opportunity to give back that has a direct impact in my neighborhood.
